We are all amazed today at just how much we have accomplished in just 3 days and how many prayers have been answered. Most of our much need supplies from Santa Cruz arrived today including the panel boxes, which were ready from the manufacturer 8 hours ahead of schedule! A quick run down of today's accomplishments include....The ladies painted the long hall way int the boys dorm building and helped the Bolivian ladies do a big pile of laundry: the electricians mounted and wired several of the new panel boxes the team from Steppin Out Missions continued work in the dining hall running new conduit, junction boxes and wiring new circuits in the attic for all the new lighting fixtures and ceiling fans: line man laid out the underground secondary lines to the "couples cabins" and houses on the south circuit: and the work day ended with a few members from each team joined 3 men from CRE, the local electric utility, as they tied the national grid to the transformer and meter base.....Monte Blanco is now on the grid!

Our American team has gathered here from a variety of back grounds, electricians, linemen, white collar professionals, a seamstress, a horticulturalist, and multiple other disciplines to bring balance to the team. Aside from bringing the power grid to this camp, we are teaching locals to use sewing machines to make curtains and pillow cases, teaching them how to prune fruit trees to promote healthier plants....and on and on...each day brings new opportunities and we are happy to be here. I for one hope to learn from the Bolivian ladies in the kitchen who prepare tasty and healthy Bolivian meals for our nourishment. This evening many members of the team hiked to the top of the hill and walked the length of the air strip. We enjoyed spectacular views of the mountains and valleys God created around us, and wished you were all here enjoying it with us!
