Only two shopping days left until the team arrives here in Bolivia. As they are going through the routine of packing and weighing suitcases and going over the lists again and again, we know well what they have been going through. My time here has been spent going to various electrical and lighting supply locations. We are trying to choose appropriate fixtures for the dining hall. This one may fit the need but we are trying to decide if we can go with recessed or if we need to get surface mounted fixtures.
We spent a good bit of time meeting with Luis Fernando and the Eplabol officials discussing the list of materials for the job. When we told Fernando that we need this stuff by Friday, he seemed to squirm a bit, but said he is sure it can happen. We are planning on transporting all the supplies and a very large team to Monte Blanco on Saturday in three vehicles. Today and tomorrow we will narrow our fixture search and make the purchases and hopefully have all of the wire and conduit loaded and ready to go for out Saturday morning run.
